At Rug Culture, we strive to provide a smooth and reliable delivery experience. Since many of our products are handcrafted or made-to-order, shipping timelines may vary based on the nature of your order. Please review the details below before placing an order.
1. Order Processing & Production Time
Most Rug Culture products are prepared after order confirmation to maintain quality and customization standards.
Estimated timelines:
• Made-to-order rugs: 10–14 business days for production before dispatch.
• Ready stock rugs (if available): 3–5 business days for dispatch.
Production timelines may vary depending on:
• Design complexity
• Order volume
• Material availability
• Operational factors
Customers acknowledge that production time is separate from shipping time.
2. Shipping Time (After Dispatch)
Estimated delivery timelines after dispatch:
• India: 3–5 business days (may vary by location)
• International: Delivery timelines vary depending on destination country and customs clearance.
Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.
3. Shipping Charges
• Shipping charges within India are calculated at checkout or communicated during order confirmation.
• International shipping charges depend on destination, weight, and courier rates and will be communicated to the customer before dispatch.
Any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges for international orders are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Courier Partners & Tracking
We work with reliable third-party courier partners to deliver orders safely.
Once your order is dispatched:
• Tracking details will be shared via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.
• Customers are responsible for tracking their shipment using the provided tracking information.
5. Partial Cash on Delivery (COD)
We offer Partial Cash on Delivery (COD) on eligible orders.
Customers are required to:
• Pay an advance amount during order placement.
• Pay the remaining balance at the time of delivery.
Full COD is not available.
Rug Culture reserves the right to approve or decline COD requests based on order value, location, or previous order history.
6. Delivery Responsibility & Customer Availability
Customers are responsible for:
• Providing accurate shipping address details
• Providing correct contact information
• Being available to receive the package at delivery time
If the courier attempts delivery and the customer is unavailable, re-delivery attempts will depend on courier policies.
7. Incorrect Address or Delivery Failure
If an order is returned due to:
• Incorrect address provided by the customer
• Customer unavailable after multiple attempts
• Refusal to accept delivery
The customer may be required to pay re-shipping charges to dispatch the order again.
Advance payments are non-refundable in such situations.
8. Delivery Delays Beyond Our Control
Delivery timelines may be affected by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
• Courier company delays
• Weather conditions
• Transportation disruptions
• Government restrictions
• Public holidays
• Natural events
• Customs clearance delays (international)
Rug Culture shall not be held responsible for delays caused by third-party logistics providers or external factors.
9. Order Status & Communication
Customers may contact our support team for order updates if needed.
However, minor delays within the estimated timeframe do not qualify for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
10. Damaged Packages During Transit
If a package appears visibly damaged at the time of delivery:
• Customers should record a proper unboxing video while opening.
• Claims without an unboxing video may not be accepted.
Further resolution will be handled according to our Exchange & Refund Policy.
11. International Shipping Conditions
For international orders:
• Delivery timelines vary significantly depending on destination country.
• Customs clearance may cause additional delays.
• Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or local charges.
• International shipping fees are non-refundable once dispatched.
12. Order Combination & Multiple Shipments
If an order contains multiple products:
• Items may be shipped separately depending on production readiness.
• Separate tracking numbers may be provided.
13. Shipping Address Changes
Shipping address changes may be possible only if:
• The order has not yet been dispatched.
Once dispatched, address changes may not be possible.
14. Limitation of Liability
Once an order has been handed over to the courier partner:
• Rug Culture is not responsible for delays caused by the courier company.
• Delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees.
• Responsibility is limited to providing shipment through a reliable logistics partner.
